Classic Comedy For Your Collection!
From the Bongo Archives, when a psychotic clown sidekick comes to town with a plan to exact his revenge upon his archenemy, no one expects that vengeance-seeking harlequin to be Sideshow Cecil, Bob's brother, with a plan to kill his own archenemy -- Lisa Simpson! Then, Bart's treehouse gets condemned when the tree in the Simpsons' backyard develops stump rot, and it's up to Bart and Milhouse to stand in the way of the bulldozers. Also, Radioactive Man finds himself in an alternate reality after an emergency stop in a convenient Portal Potty.

Simpsons Illustrated #3 (Aug 2012)
Big Laughs! Big Action! Small Price!
This month's Simpsons showcase offers a snout full of savory stories. First, Homer opts into Mr. Burns' "golden parachute" program and soon finds himself and his family living a life that's less than luxurious on Mr. Burns' tropical island retirement community, which is made entirely of trash. Then, Bart pits himself against Marge in a battle of wills; specifically, will Bart take a bath or not? Finally, Bartman is up to his elbows in ectoplasm when he gets a helping hand from the hapless ghost of good ol' salesman Gil. It's gooey goodness and ghastly gladness that will make you gag galore!

New Look, Same Great Taste!
Simpsons Illustrated provides a seasonal showcase for some of the very best "Treehouse of Horror" stories from Bongo Halloweens gone by. First, the Simpsons contend with an ravenous alien plant species in "Little Shop of Homers." Then, Apu is transported to another world where he joins forces with Kang (and not Kodos) to overthrow a surprisingly familiar despotic ruler on Rigel VII. Finally, Moe exacts a pound of flesh from Homer in "The Cask of Amontilla-D'oh."

Credits for Little Shop of Homers which were originally supplied on a general introduction page for Treehouse of Horror #1 were moved to the first page of the story (as it is for most stories).
THOH style credits for The Cask of Amontilla-D'oh which were originally supplied on a general introduction page for Treehouse of Horror #9 were moved to the first page of the story (as it is for most stories) and switched to non-THOH credits as documented above.

The Greatest Stories Ever Told!
Bart finds himself in control of Springfield's print media and begins to publish all the news that's fit to print his purposes. But when the headlines go spinning out of control, half of Springfield is left in tatters, and only Bart can piece it back together. Later, Bart tries a find a way out of writing a book report on Great Expectations. And finally, Stretch Dude is in need of a new partner when Clobber Girl is sidelined by the Superflu, but there is only one sidekick available -- Gluestick (alias Ralph Wiggum).

Fools Rush In!
When a crimewave plagues the shopkeepers of Springfield, three men vow to stop ne'er-do-wells in their good-for-nothing tracks. Three mere mortals will stare villainy in the eye and dare it to blink. Three vigilantes, who comprise the Merchants of Vengeance! Be there as an alliance is formed, a bond is forged, and (as usually happens to such bonds and aforementioned alliances) a confidence is betrayed!

Hi-Diddily-D'oh!
While participating in a reality TV show, Homer Simpson and Ned Flanders trade places, houses, and just about everything else, and the funny thing is, they kind of like it. Meanwhile, Lisa attends a smart kid summer camp and finds herself caught up in an act of international espionage. Then Bartman's superhero sidekick, Houseboy, takes on superpowers with a push of a button on a cellphone developed by Professor Frink -- that is until, he dials a wrong number and becomes a very, bad boy indeed!

Laughter Is The Best Medicine!
Open wide and say "Ha!" Popular with patients and able to dispense medical advice with perfect timing, Springfield's newest doctor will keep you in stitches and deliver big laughs. But Dr. the Clown may soon discover that when matters get stickier than a banana créme pie in the kisser, laughter is the worst medicine. Then, Stretch Dude, Clobber Girl, and Battle Baby find themselves on the wrong side of the law when the local League of Women Voters outlaws superheroes. And watch out Springfield, there's a new detective duo in town when Maggie and Moe join to together to solve a crime. (You heard us right?)

Simpsons Illustrated #9 (Jan 2014)
After Lisa is diagnosed with complications due to Middle Child Syndrome, the Simpsons decide to adopt another child to balance things out. That child turns out to be Nelson Muntz, and it's not long before he becomes head of the household, and Homer starts to suffer from Displaced Dad Syndrome. Then, Pieman and the Cupcake Kid encounter another uncouth and undercooked evil genius in the guise of Professor Frink, whose zeal to fund his research has some unexpected and embarrassing effects on the pastry-themed pair. Finally, a science experiment run amok leads to a population explosion of Barts!
